I had Lasik today. Theoretically I should be zonked out by now, due to a delightful combination of Panadeine and Diazepam, but I’m as alert as ever.

The trouble is I can’t really see properly at the moment due to the plastic eye cover goggle things I have on, so I’m not quite ready to write a detailed account of the procedure (but if you’ve ever seen “A Clockwork Orange”, that’ll give you a rough idea).

However I will note that I have been amusing myself by listening to (not watching) episodes of The Mighty Boosh and Never Mind The Buzzcocks. Something about laughter being the best medicine. Cheers, the BBC.
